What is Inpress Control?

Prinect Inpress Control is the inline spectrophotometric measurement system from Heidelberg. What it does is it checks every single sheet printed, on the fly and at any speed. It uses spectrophotometry to capture even the tiniest deviations from process and special colours. At the same time, it monitors register and performs any required adjustments.

As a result, it is no longer necessary to pull press sheets to inspect register and colour – and makeready takes less time. Print shops with frequent job changes, short runs and standardized jobs stand to reap especially great benefits from the system’s strengths. Industrial printers can leverage Prinect Inpress Control to continuously monitor production and attain a whole new level of dependable quality and cost-effectiveness.
